Snipfy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates snipfy.io, an AI-powered receipt and invoice tracker for freelancers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and services.

Information we collect

• Account information such as your name, email address, and password.
• Receipt images and extracted data (vendor, amount, date, category, and related fields).
• Invoice and client information you create in the app.
• Payment and subscription data processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
• Usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device/browser type.

How we use your information

• To provide receipt scanning, categorization, invoicing, and export features.
• To process subscriptions and send transactional emails (confirmations, invoices, reminders).
• To improve our AI models and product experience.
• To respond to support requests and prevent fraud or abuse.

AI processing

Receipt images may be sent to third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic) for data extraction. We do not use your receipt content to train public models. Processing is limited to delivering the service you requested.

Data sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us operate Snipfy (hosting, email, payments, AI processing) under contractual obligations to protect your data. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active. You may delete individual receipts or your entire account from the Account settings page. Deleted data is removed from our systems within a reasonable period, subject to backup retention limits.

Your rights

Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and secure cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
